Course Details

What to Bring

1 x form of photo ID or 2 x forms of secondary ID (e.g. Medicare, ATM, or Health Care Card), a pen and your completed pre-reading.

Please ensure that you wear enclosed shoes (i.e. no sandals or thongs) and wear either shorts or long pants (bearing in mind that you will need to kneel on the floor to perform CPR).

Assessment

Theory and practical assessments are conducted during the course.

Entry requirements

Mandatory pre learning is to be undertaken before arriving for your scheduled class time which must be presented at check-in.  You will be asked to certify that you have completed the Learner Guide.  Please ensure you inform your trainer if you have not done so.

Validity

Your first aid certificate is valid for 3 years, but it is recommended that the CPR training component is refreshed every 12 months. We also offer a first aid refresher course for those interested.

Rebates

Eligible participants, working in the construction industry can apply for a subsidy of up to 70% of their course fee directly from the Building and Construction Industry Training Fund (BCITF) upon completion of this course. We can provide you with the application form on the day of your course.
